From Beginner To Expert

This course is an access version of the mentoring programme I offer. It was designed in order to make the vast wealth of knowledge and practical experience I have accrued over the time I have been working with and studying dogs, humans and their behaviour.

The course is drip-fed which means each week, you will receive new lessons on the topics until you have access to the full library of lessons. 

There is a Facebook group which is available for discussion on the course material and for you to upload videos of you working with your dogs for peer feedback.

There are  lessons which are available are just to get you started, new lessons are added each week.

The course will cover all aspects of dog training and behaviour modification which I have learned over the last 15 years and utilise on a daily basis with my clients and their dogs. It will cover everything you need to know as a care giver of dogs, from brand new owners with no experience who want to give their dogs the best lives possible, to groomers, dog walkers and training and behaviour professionals.

Subjects to be covered are; puppies, adolescent dogs, senior dogs, home alone/separation anxiety, aggression and reactivity, recall, not pulling on the lead, jumping up on visitors and people, play and games, and a whole host more.

There are over 200 lessons at time pf publishing with more being prepared and added each month.

About the instructor

John has been running one of the most successful dog training and behaviour modification business in Scotland for over 12 years. In that time he has amassed over 5500 hour of client facing hours and has  worked with over 2000 dogs. 

Being a cross over trainer and having lived with dogs showing aggressive behaviours as a result of inappropriate training methods, he knows only too well the challenges faced by owners living with these issues. 

Much of his work is dealing and offering training and behaviour solutions to owners living with dogs exhibiting aggressive behaviours. John focuses much of his teaching on the human movement and handling of the the dog, get that right and it makes life much easier. 

He has taught on several IMDT courses and hold regular tutorials for budding trainers and dog training enthusiasts throughout the year. He has presented in the UK, Australia, The USA and Europe. John is a graduate of the prestigious Karen Pryor Academy. He lives with his dog, Logan.
